April 30th--Seeger and Springsteen

Hey everybody,

This week's show focused on Pete Seeger and the good Mr. Springsteen. Before I get to the playlist, here are a few interesting works from and about Pete Seeger.

**Pete Seeger wrote a wonderful letter to Seventeen magazine back in 1963. I pass this along to people whenever I can. Love the start..."Dear Fellow Humans"

**Here's Seeger's testimony in front of the House Antiamerican Committee back on August 18, 1955.

April 16th

Hey Folks,

KMSU experienced some odd (and fairly rare) technological difficulty during our Easter show. The darn show got cut off halfway through. We'll be back on the air on the 23rd with some good new music--gonna play a few songs from a fairly new Billy Joe Shaver tribute cd and a few cuts from a not so new W. Jennings tribute. I'll have some requested Phil Ochs as well.

Sorry for the problems with the Easter show...

Dave
