Hey All,
Today's show featured a bunch of songs from the new tribute cd to Peter Case, A Case for Case. The cd is put out by Hungry For Music, a group worth checking out.
On the show today we got to talking about some good music documentaries. A listener from St. Peter was nice enough to send in one we didn't talk about, You See Me Laughin' about hill country bluesmen including R. L. Burnside and a bunch of others.
Other films discussed on the program included documentaries on...
Townes Van Zandt
Ramblin Jack Elliott
Neil Young
Woody Guthrie

Hey Folks,
Here's some Jon Hassler stuff I talked about on the show. As most of you probably know, Hassler's a heck of a storyteller. Really gets something special about Minnesota.

Pete Seeger
Hey Folks,
I was up in Northern Wisconsin over the 4th and heard an excellent interview with Pete Seeger. The interview came from Democracy Now and was aired by a great community radio station, WOJB
It's a full hour giving the kind of history and context Springsteen should have provided in his new work.
Here's a link to the interview
