Hi Folks,
I'm posting this after the Indigo Girls show on the 30th. A nice show...they played for a couple hours doing a whole bunch of old and new stuff. Really is too bad these kind of things get so little support here in town. Maybe 600 people or so...I can't imagine these numbers will keep bands like the Indigo Girls coming to town. Unfortunate. Do consider checking out Leo Kotkke on the 16th of November down at the Civic Center.

1) Old Crow Medicine Show; Wagon Wheel; Old Crow Medicine Show

Hey Folks,
As you know, we're in the middle of the pledge drive. Thanks to those who called in to this morning's show. We really appreciate your support. You can see the promotional gifts and even pledge online at the KMSU website.
I suspect listeners do tire of the appeals for dollars, but your help really does keep KMSU on the air. Most communities this size don't have a true community radio station offering such unique programming. I know I speak for everybody at KMSU when I thank you for helping bring us "music geeks" into your homes.
Here's the playlist for the today's show...
1) Old Crow Medicine Show; We're All in This Together; TransAmerica Soundtrack

3) Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver; I'm Riding on the Wings of Love; Gospel Radio Gems
4) Leo Kottke; The Room at the Top of the Stairs; Live
5) Indigo Girls; Virginia Woolf; 1200 Curfews
6) Indigo Girls; Ramblin Round; Till We Outnumber Em'
**Both Leo Kottke and the Indigo Girls will be in Mankato before the holidays. Check out the details...
7) John Prine; Dear Abby; Great Days: The John Prine Anthology
8) Blaze Foley; Clay Pigeons; Live at the Austin Outhouse
9) The Wallin' Jennys; The Devil's Paintbrush Road; Firecracker
10) Lyle Lovett; Rollin' By; Step Inside This House

Hey All,
Today's show was a repeat from July of 2005--back before I started keeping playlists. I'll be back next week with a new show (inlcuding a few cool songs from the new Kinky Friedman tribute cd).
By the way...the pledge drive is coming up soon. Please support KMSU and this program however you can.
