Hey All,
This week's show was a repeat from September 2007--a show for which I lost the playlist. We played a lot of stuff from the Peter Case tribute cd--I know that. I also mentioned the very good documentary film called Libby Montana.
I'll be back next week with a new show...

Hi All,
On last week's show I mentioned I'd post an interview with Richard Russo--I'm really liking his new book River of Sighs and am a pretty darn big fan of everything he's done. He writes about the same kind of characters who populate the songs played on this program.
The playlist for the 20th went like this...

3) Guy Clark; Baby Took a Limo to Memphis; Dublin Blues
4) Dwight Yokam; Three Good Reasons; Blame the Vane
5) Tom Russell; Stealing Electricity; Love and Fear
6) Pieta Brown; 4th of July; In the Cool
7) Buddy Miller; Worry Too Much; United House of Prayer
8) Linda Thompson; Versatile Heart; Versatile Heart
9) Indigo Girls; I Believe in Love; Despite our Differences
